Reiner Hammelrath

Reiner Hammelrath (* 1953 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German educator and former director of the State Association of Adult Education Centers of North Rhine-Westphalia eV based in Düsseldorf .

Education

He completed his studies at the then Pedagogical University of Rhineland (today: Faculty of Education at the University of Cologne) in 1979 as a qualified pedagogue.

career path

In 1980 and 1981 he began as head of studies for political education at the Gustav Stresemann Institute in Bergisch Gladbach. From 1981 to 1985 he was a research fellow at the Adolf Grimme Institute , Marl. From 1985 to 1992 he was head of the department for political education at the Volkshochschule Köln . From 1992 to 2014 he was director of the state association of adult education centers in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Others

In 2001 he was involved in the donation affair of the Cologne SPD.
