Pure Janke

Reiner Janke (* 1959 in Witzenhausen near Göttingen ) is a German organ builder and voicer .

After his apprenticeship in Rudolf Janke 's father's company and the apprenticeship year at Werner Bosch Orgelbau , he has been working full-time as chief sounder at the organ building company Hartwig Späth in Freiburg im Breisgau since 1988 .

He is a founding member of the Organ Research Association and in 1997, in collaboration with physicists Judit Angster and András Miklós from the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics at the University of Applied Sciences Emden, carried out extensive studies on the flow behavior of sounding organ pipes.

Janke has been a lecturer at the Musikhochschule Freiburg since 1994 and has been a speaker for organ intonation since 2002 as part of the expert training of the Association of Organ Experts in Germany (VOD).
