Reiner the German
Reiner der Deutsche wrote a Latin table breed known as Fagifacetus . This work was mentioned by Hugo von Trimberg in his Registrum multorum auctorum around 1280 , so it must have been written before this date. The 440 hexameters have survived in over thirty manuscripts and several incunabula editions. The author wrote in an acrostic : Reinerus me fecit .
