Reinhard Lebersorger

Reinhard Lebersorger (born January 7, 1952 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian politician ( GREEN ) and tax advisor . From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

education and profession

Lebersorger graduated from the Bundes-Realgymnasium in St. Pölten and studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business , where he completed his studies with a doctorate in social and economic sciences. From 1978 to 1982 he was general secretary of Catholic Action Carinthia . He then worked from 1982 to 1986 as an employee trainee and was hired as a tax advisor in 1986. In 1999 he was the initiator of the joint law firm “DieSteuerberater” in Klagenfurt and advised numerous companies in various branches of the Carinthian economy. Lebersorger lists international tax law, associations, corporations under public law and corporate planning as his specialties. In addition to his work as a tax consultant, he was a lecturer at the University of Klagenfurt on tax law topics for many years.

Lebersorger cites his experience as a tax advisor and his political and social interest as the reason for his political commitment. In 2010 he became active in the Carinthian Greens, where he became a board member and financial officer of the Klagenfurt Greens that year. At the end of 2011, Lebersorger ran for the position of state spokesman for the Carinthian Greens, but was only able to collect 19 out of 107 votes and was defeated by Frank Frey . In the state elections in 2013 , Lebersorger ran for fourth place on the Green State List and was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on March 28, 2013 after the election success of the Carinthian Greens. According to his own statements, he would like to work there in particular on environmental policy, the restructuring of public finances and securing the economic basis in Carinthia.

Lebersorger was the founding chairman of the 3rd World Cooperation Association as the sponsor of the Welt-Laden in Klagenfurt and gave lectures on the topic of development funding. He was an active member of the anti-nuclear movement to prevent the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant and was a member of the board of the Villach women's advice center. He is also President of the Carinthian Art Association and auditor in various associations such as the Viktring Music Forum , the Alternative Cinema Association and the umbrella organization for socio-economic employment projects.

Liver carer is widowed and has one son.
