Reinhard Müller (theologian)

Reinhard Müller (* 1972 in Greiz ) is a Protestant theologian and Old Testament scholar .

Life

From 1993 to 2000 he studied Protestant theology in Oberursel , Göttingen and Munich . From 2000 to 2002 he was an academic repetitionist at the Collegium Oecumenicum Munich. After completing his doctorate (2001–2003) with Rudolf Smend at the Theological Faculty of the Georg-August University in Göttingen , he completed the vicariate in Thiersheim and Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm from 2003 to 2005 . After his habilitation (2005–2008) in the subject of the Old Testament at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Munich , he was visiting professor at the Theological Faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin in 2011 . From 2005 to 2014 he was a research assistant at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Munich with Christoph Levin . Since 2014 he has been teaching as a professor for the Old Testament at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Münster .
