Reinhard Voigt (* 1940 in Berlin ) is a German painter of the 20th century.

Career

He studied with Hans Thiemann , David Hockney and Gotthard Graubner at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts , among others .

Reinhard Voigt is married to the artist Susan Elias. In the “Rasterfahndung” exhibition curated by Simone Schimpf, his works were exhibited alongside those by R. Lichtenstein and S. Polke in 2012 at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. In Berlin, his works were shown in the BQ gallery, among others. Two early studies ("Study for Ina" and "Morphine") are owned by MoMA .
