Reinhard Wallner
Reinhard Wallner (born November 22, 1960 in Mödling ) is an Austrian bar pianist , composer , arranger and author .
Life
Reinhard Wallner worked in his parents' company for the first few years of his professional life. In 2005 he founded the compilation series Wiener Bar Pianisten and arranged compositions for the bar piano . His first own compositions were published by Weltmusik Edition International in 2006. He arranged well-known works for bar piano that were published in the music books of the Wiener Bar Pianisten series and on sound carriers as piano solos, including the Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka by Johann Strauss and the Danube Waltz . He received his first permanent engagement at the Hotel Imperial Vienna. Then followed the Bonbonniere Bar as well as the Gesualdo, Hotel Stefanie and Nightflys.
In 2008 compositions by Wallner appeared in the sheet music book The Passion Of Barmusik . At the same time he also published a book on playing the bar piano. He also founded the record label Barmusik Records, which specializes in solos by Viennese bar pianists . The later music books were also published under this label. By the beginning of 2014, three volumes of the Wiener Bar Pianisten sheet music series with over 300 compositions had been created. In 2013 the book The Professional Barpiano Study was published. Wallner developed this work together with Peter Galsai .
