The Reither See is a 1.45 hectare lake in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein . It is located right at the center of the municipality of Reith im Alpbachtal and is used as a bathing water. The inflow is divided equally between groundwater and a spring stream, the outflow consists of an Olszewski pipe built in 1972 , the inlet of which is around 8 meters in the deepest part of the lake. The artificial deep water drainage was able to achieve the intended improvement in the water quality of the Reither See, although the visibility depth of less than 2 m for Tyrolean lakes is still below average.
