Riding trial

The riding test is a veterinary examination procedure to check the tolerance reflex in sows . As a rule, it is carried out after the flank grip and support sample have turned out positive. For the examination, the examiner sits on the rear of the sow's back. A sow ready to cover tolerates this riding. A reliable determination of the heat is only possible with a stimulation boar.
