Rem Digga

Rem Digga (born February 1, 1987 in Gukovo ; Russian Рем Дигга, born as Roman Voronin , Russian: Рома́н Воро́нин) is a Russian rap musician and beatmaker and former member of the group "Суисайд" ( Suicide ).

Life

Voronin was born in 1987 in Gukovo in the Rostov region and attended secondary school No. 23 there. At the age of ten, he began to learn guitar and piano at the music school. At this age he was already interested in rap. He later founded the group Suicide with the rap singer Shamoy, whom he knew from school.

In 2005 he recorded with the band the album Брутальная тематика ( Brutal Themes ), which was released in 2006. He continued to write music during his army service.

Voronin was seriously injured in a fall from a fourth floor balcony and has been paraplegic since then . He recorded his debut solo album Периметр ( Perimeter ) at a time when he was bedridden.

Two years later his second solo album Глубина ( depth ) was released, which made it into the top ten of the best Ukrainian albums of 2011 on the Internet portals Rap.ru and Prorap.ru . In 2011, Voronin took part in two hip-hop competitions: Indabattle 3 and Девятый Официальный Баттл hip-hop.ru . The first he lost in the fifth of nine rounds, in the second he took second place with a profit of 50,000 rubles . In the same year he released the album Убитые параграфы ( Killed Heels ) under the stage name Rem Digga with the band Black Market .

When his health improved, Voronin began touring the country. He gave his first major concert on April 6, 2012. In July 2012, the release of his compilation salbums Крокодил говорит ( crocodile says ), which contains completely new pieces. In the same year he also released the lyrical album Черника ( blueberry ). On June 4, 2013, the mini-album Корень ( root ) was released, which contains both new songs and very early works by him. On January 8, 2014 he released Одна петля with the band Chemodan . On August 31, 2014 Rem Diggas fourth studio album Людоед came out. On December 29, 2015, a joint album with FD Vadim followed: Граната ( Granata ). The release of the lyrical album Черника и циклоп took place on February 10, 2016. His sixth studio album 42/37 was released in November 2016. The song and the accompanying music video Give It Up by Rem Digga and Onyx was released in early 2017. Together with the rap duo MiyaGi & Эндшпиль , one of his most successful releases was released in June 2017 with the clip for the song I Got Love .

Personal

Voronin is Russian Orthodox . He does not smoke, does not drink alcohol and eats a predominantly health-conscious diet. He collects objects such as paintings and cloaks from his culture. He wears ethnic clothing.
