Remigi Blättler (politician)

Remigi Blättler "Chärne-Migi" (born December 19, 1899 in Hergiswil , Canton Nidwalden ; † October 27, 1975 there ) was a Swiss politician .

Blättler was initially a farmer, then from around 1930 an insurance agent.

After the first offices in the municipality of liberal politicians from 1935 Canton judges and from 1943 was district administrator . In 1945 he was elected to the government council, of which he was a member until 1966.

Blättler was also a folk musician and yodel composer, but should not be confused with the folk musician of the same name (1911–2003), known as "Sonnmatt-Migi".
