Remigijus Motuzas
Remigijus Motuzas (born November 17, 1956 in Skuodas ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and politician.
Life
After graduating from high school, in 1978 he studied Lithuanian language and literature at the Faculty of Philology at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas and became a teacher. From 1978 to 1985 he worked in Vilnius , Žirmūnai . From 1991 to 1993 he did his doctorate in education at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Vilniaus universitetas . Then he worked in the ministry. From 2004 to 2006 he was Lithuania's Minister of Education and Science in the Brazauskas II cabinet , and from 2006 to 2011 Ambassador to Sweden . Since October 2011 he has been the director of a department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania .
