Remmert Wielinga (born April 27, 1978 in Eindhoven ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

After Wielinga won the Dutch U23 time trial championships in 1999 and 2000 , he turned pro at De Nardi in 2001 . In 2003 he won a stage each of the Ruta del Sol and the Mallorca Challenge . From 2003 to 2007 he drove for the UCI ProTeams Rabobank , Quick Step-Innergetic and Saunier Duval-Prodir . During this time he drove the Tour de France 2003 and the Giro d'Italia 2006 , but could not finish the races. In 2006 he won the Swiss one-day race GP Chiasso . After finishing second overall at the Tour of Yeroskipos , a stage race on the Greek cycling calendar , in the middle of the year he retired from the Itera-Katusha team . After that he was no longer under contract with an international cycling team .
