Remshart

Remshart is a district with 290 inhabitants (2015) in the municipality of Rettenbach in the district of Günzburg in Bavaria . The previously independent municipality of Remshart was incorporated into Rettenbach on July 1, 1970.

The parish village is about one kilometer east of Rettenbach on State Road 2024 .

history

Remshart is first mentioned in a document in 1194, when the Wiblingen monastery was well off in the village. In the 14th century the Lords of Knöringen owned Remshart, which in 1371 passed to the Lords of Riedheim .
