René Guenot

René Guenot (born November 8, 1890 in Saint-Boil , † May 6, 1965 in Gap ) was a French cyclist .

Athletic career

He started his career at VC Levallois . In 1910 he released a license as an independent and won the Tour de France ( Circuit Français Peugeot) held for independent in 1910, where he won four stages. A year later he won at Paris-Roubaix , also in the independent class. In 1913 he took part in the Tour de France for the JB Louvet team, but retired. The First World War then ended his career.
