Saint-Boil is a French municipality with 491 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton Givry (until 2015 Buxy ).

Saint-Boil is surrounded by the neighboring communities Saules and Chenôves in the north and northwest, Messey-sur-Grosne in the east, Santilly in the south, Saint-Gengoux-le-National in the southwest and Culles-les-Roches in the west.
