Lalheue is a French municipality with 395 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and is part of the canton of Tournus (until 2015 Sennecey-le-Grand ). The inhabitants are called Leurats .

geography

Lalheue is about nineteen kilometers south-southeast of Chalon-sur-Saône . The river Grison runs along the eastern border of the municipality . Lalheue is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Ambreuil in the north and northeast, Laives in the east, Nanton in the south and southeast, La Chapelle-de-Bragny in the south and southwest and Messey-sur-Grosne in the west.
