Guerfand is a French municipality with 206 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton of Ouroux-sur-Saône (until 2015 Saint-Martin-en-Bresse ).

Guerfand is about twelve kilometers east of Chalon-sur-Saône in the natural landscape of Bresse . Guerfand is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-en-Bresse in the north and east, L'Abergement-Sainte-Colombe in the south and Montcoy in the west and north-west.
