Allériot is located about eight kilometers northeast of Chalon-sur-Saône in the natural landscape of Bresse and the Saône , which borders the municipality in the north-west. Allériot is surrounded by the neighboring communities Sassenay in the north, Bey in the north and northeast, Montcoy in the east, Saint-Christophe-en-Bresse in the south and southeast, Oslon in the south and southwest and Châtenoy-en-Bresse in the west.
