Sainte-Hélène is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châtel-Moron in the north and north-west, Jambles in the north and north-east, Moroges in the east, Bissey-sous-Cruchaud in the south-east, Sassangy in the south, Marcilly-lès-Buxy in the south-west and Villeneuve-en- Montagne in the west.
