Moroges is a French municipality with 569 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton Givry (until 2015 Buxy ). The inhabitants are called Morogeois .

Moroges is about fifteen kilometers west-southwest of Chalon-sur-Saône . Moroges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jambles in the north, Saint-Désert in the east and northeast, Rosey in the east and southeast, Bissey-sous-Cruchaud in the south and Sainte-Hélène in the west.
The national route 80 runs through the municipality .
