Vaux-en-Pré is a French commune with a population of 79 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and is part of the canton of Cluny (until 2015 Mont-Saint-Vincent ).

Vaux-en-Pré is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Genouilly in the north and north-west, Saint-Martin-du-Tartre in the north and north-east, Saint-Maurice-des-Champs in the east, Burnand in the south and south-east and Saint-Clément-sur- Guye to the south and west.
