The canton of Cluny is a French constituency in the arrondissements of Chalon-sur-Saône and Mâcon , in the department of Saône-et-Loire and in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté . Its main town is Cluny . Jean-Luc Fonteray ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2001 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Cluny included the 24 municipalities of Bergesserin , Berzé-le-Châtel , Blanot , Bray , Buffières , Château , Chérizet , Cluny , Cortambert , Curtil-sous-Buffières , Donzy-le-National , Donzy-le-Pertuis , Flagy , Jalogny , La Vineuse , Lournand , Massilly , Massy , Mazille , Saint-André-le-Désert , Sainte-Cécile , Saint-Vincent-des-Prés , Salornay-sur-Guye and Vitry- lès-Cluny . Its layout corresponded to an area of 236.81 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7112.
