The District of Saint-Gengoux-le-National was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Mâcon , in Saône-et-Loire and in the region of Burgundy . Its main town was Saint-Gengoux-le-National . Jean-Pierre Chapelon ( DVG ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2001 to 2015 . The canton was 155.14 km² and had 3880 inhabitants (1999), which corresponded to a population density of 25 inhabitants per km². It was on average 255 meters above sea level, between 193 meters in Saint-Gengoux-le-National and 551 meters in Chissey-lès-Mâcon.
