Sailly is a French commune with a population of 85 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mâcon and the canton of Cluny (until 2015: canton of Saint-Gengoux-le-National ).

Sailly is about 35 kilometers northwest of Mâcon and about 32 kilometers southwest of Chalon-sur-Saône . Neighboring communities of Sailly are Sigy-le-Châtel in the north, Bonnay in the northeast, Salornay-sur-Guye in the east and southeast, Chérizet in the south, Saint-André-le-Désert in the south and southwest, Saint-Martin-de-Salencey in the Southwest and Passy in the west.
