Plottes is a French municipality with 534 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mâcon and the canton of Tournus . Plottes is a member of the Communauté de communes Mâconnais-Tournugeois .

geography

Plottes is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Mâcon and about 36 kilometers south-southeast of Chalon-sur-Saône in the Bourgogne wine region . Plottes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tournus in the north, Le Villars in the east, Farges-lès-Mâcon in the southeast, Uchizy in the south, Chardonnay in the southwest and Ozenay in the west.
