Saint-Martin-la-Patrouille is located about 35 kilometers southwest of Chalon-sur-Saône on the Guye . Saint-Clément-sur-Guye is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Joncy in the north, Saint-Huruge in the east, Sigy-le-Châtel in the southeast, Saint-Marcelin-de-Cray in the south and west and Mary in the northwest.
