The wines produced in the village may be marketed under the designation of origin ( Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée ) Mâcon AOC or Mâcon-Chardonnay AOC . The winegrowers' cooperative Cave coopérative vinicole de Chardonnay merged in 1994 with that of the neighboring municipality of Lugny.
