Saint-Point is a French municipality with 328 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Mâcon and the canton of La Chapelle-de-Guinchay (until 2015: Canton Tramayes ). Saint-Point is a member of the Communauté de communes Saint-Cyr Mère Boitier entre Charolais et Mâconnais .

Saint-Point is located about 18 kilometers west-northwest of Mâcon on the Valouzin . Saint-Point is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bourgvilain in the north, Pierreclos in the east, Serrières in the southeast, Tramayes in the south and Navour-sur-Grosne in the west and northwest.
