Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche is located about three kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Mâcon on the Saône in the Mâconnais in the Bourgogne wine-growing region . Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche is surrounded by the neighboring communities Senozan in the north, Asnières-sur-Saône in the east and north-east, Vésines in the south-east, Mâcon in the south and south-west and Charbonnières in the north-west.
