Blanot is a French municipality with 177 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Mâcon and the canton of Cluny . The inhabitants are called Blanotins .

Blanot is located about 20 kilometers north-north-west of Mâcon and about 39 kilometers south-south-west of Chalon-sur-Saône . Neighboring municipalities of Blanot are Chissey-lès-Mâcon in the north, Bissy-la-Mâconnaise in the east and northeast, Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé in the east and southeast, Azé in the south and southeast, Donzy-le-Pertuis in the south and southwest, Cortambert to the west and southwest and Bray to the west.
