The Pyritterrasse is a terrace in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains it is on the northeast side of the Frolow Ridge .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX I (1979–1980) named it. It is named after the mineral pyrite found here .
