Robert Dumontois

Robert Dumontois (born August 6, 1941 in Lyon ) is a former French rower .

The for Cercle de l'Aviron de Lyon rowing Robert Dumontois won his first international medal at the 1960 Olympics in Rome when the French coxed four in the cast Robert Dumontois, Claude Martin , Jacques Morel , Guy Nosbaum and helmsman Jean Klein , the Received silver medal behind the German foursome. The French eighth took second place behind the boat from the Soviet Union. In the hope race, the Italians won ahead of the French, who only reached the B final and finished seventh in the overall standings as the winner of the B final.
