Charbonnières is a French municipality with 328 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mâcon and the canton of Hurigny (until 2015: canton of Mâcon-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Leunais .

Charbonnières is located about nine kilometers north of Mâcon in the Mâconnais and in the Bourgogne wine region . Charbonnières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Clessé in the north and northwest, La Salle in the north and northeast, Senozan in the northeast, Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche in the east and southeast, Mâcon in the south and Laizé in the west.
