Montmelard is a French municipality with 356 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Mâcon and belongs to the canton of La Chapelle-de-Guinchay (until 2015: canton of Matour ).
