Ameugny is a French municipality with 172 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Saône-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
Ameugny lies within the defined boundaries of the Burgundy wine-growing region . Defined areas are approved for the production of wines under the Bourgogne Designation of Origin .
geography
The place is located on a hill between Mâcon and Chalon-sur-Saône only a few kilometers from Cluny , whose abbey played an important role in the entire area until the 12th century. Taizé (Saône-et-Loire) with the Communauté de Taizé is the neighboring municipality of Ameugny in the south.
Buildings
