Crêches-sur-Saône is located in the Beaujolais countryside , in the Bourgogne wine region ; Here, the Crémant de Bourgogne , the Bourgogne Aligoté , the Bourgogne Passetoutgrain and the Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire are mainly produced from the grapes . The Saône limits the municipality to the east.
