The community is located about 52 kilometers west of Mâcon in the Charolais hills . The small rivers in the community area of ​​27.2 km² drain to the northwest over the Ozolette to the Arconce in the Loire catchment area . The community is characterized by a mixture of forests, meadows and fields. In the south of the municipality, near the hamlet of Les Forgeats, the highest point is reached at 510 m above sea level.
