Lesme is a French municipality with 187 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Charolles and the canton Digoin (until 2015 Bourbon-Lancy ). The inhabitants are called Lesmois .

Lesme is about 39 kilometers east-northeast of Moulins . Lesme is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vitry-sur-Loire in the north, Bourbon-Lancy in the south, east and south-west, Garnat-sur-Engiève in the west and Saint-Martin-des-Lais in the north-west.
