The square tower with large, wide openings is one of the most interesting in Burgundy. The sculptural decoration on the portal, Christ in Glory on the tympanum and the Lord's Supper on the lintel are strongly reminiscent of the large tympanum of the Saint-Fortunat Abbey . Overloaded, even mannered, it also bears testimony to the lively inspiration and talent of the local sculptors.
