Amanzé is located about 57 kilometers west-northwest of Mâcon in the rolling hills of Brionnais and Charolais . Neighboring communities of Amanzé are Prizy in the north and north-west, Saint-Germain-en-Brionnais in the north and north-east, Saint-Symphorien-des-Bois in the east, Vareilles in the south and Oyé in the west.
