The canton of Tournus is a French constituency in the arrondissements of Chalon-sur-Saône and Mâcon , in the department of Saône-et-Loire and in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté . Its main town is Tournus . Gérard Buatois ( PS ) was a representative in the General Council of the Département from 1988 to 2015 ; since the canton's redesign , there are two representatives of the right.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Tournus included the 13 municipalities of Farges-lès-Mâcon , La Chapelle-sous-Brancion , La Truchère , Lacrost , Le Villars , Martailly-lès-Brancion , Ozenay , Préty , Ratenelle , Romenay , Royer , Tournus and Uchizy . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​171.43 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7149.
