The Canton Épinac was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Autun in the Saône-et-Loire and in the region of Burgundy ; its capital was Epinac . The last representative on the General Council of the Département was Jean-François Nicolas ( PS ) from 1992 to 2015 .

The canton was 150.19 km² in size and had 4,645 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of 31 inhabitants per km². On average it was 369 meters above sea ​​level , between 274 m in Change and 530 m in Sully .
