The Canton Chagny is a French constituency in the arrondissements of Autun and Chalon-sur-Saone in Saône-et-Loire and the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; its main town is Chagny , Claudette Brunet-Léchenault ( PRG ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 1988, last re-elected in 2008 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Chagny included the 14 municipalities of Aluze , Bouzeron , Chagny , Chamilly , Chassey-le-Camp , Chaudenay , Demigny , Dennevy , Fontaines , Lessard-le-National , Remigny , Rully and Saint -Léger-sur-Dheune . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​153.50 km². Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7105.
