Aluze is a French municipality with 251 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Saône-et-Loire in the Région Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton of Chagny .

Aluze is about 14 kilometers west-northwest of Chalon-sur-Saône . Numerous types of wine are grown here in the Bourgogne wine region . Aluze is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chamilly in the north, Chassey-le-Camp in the north and north-east, Rully in the east and north-east, Mercurey in the south and south-east, Charrecey in the south and south-west, Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune in the west and Dennevy in the Northwest.
