Oslon is a French commune with 1,230 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement Chalon-sur-Saône and is part of the canton Ouroux-sur-Saône (until 2015: canton Chalon-sur-Saône-Sud ).

Oslon is about five kilometers west of Chalon-sur-Saône . Oslon is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Châtenoy-en-Bresse in the north and north-west, Allériot in the north and north-east, Saint-Christophe-en-Bresse in the east and south-east, Lans in the south and Saint-Marcel in the west.
