Villegaudin is a French municipality with 212 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton of Ouroux-sur-Saône (until 2015 Saint-Martin-en-Bresse ). The inhabitants are called Villegaudinois .
geography
Villegaudin is located about twenty kilometers east of Chalon-sur-Saône in the natural landscape of Bresse . Villegaudin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-en-Bresse in the north and west, Serrigny-en-Bresse in the north and north-east, Mervans in the east and Diconne in the south.
