Sevrey is about five kilometers south-southwest of Chalon-sur-Saône . Sevrey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Rémy in the north, Lux in the north and east, Saint-Loup-de-Varennes in the south and south-east and La Charmée in the west and south-west.
