Savigny-sur-Grosne is a French commune of 170 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Chalon-sur-Saône and the canton of Cluny (until 2015 Saint-Gengoux-le-National ).

Savigny-sur-Grosne is about 32 kilometers north-northwest of Mâcon and about 30 kilometers south-southwest of Chalon-sur-Saône on the Grosne and the Guye . Neighboring municipalities of Savigny-sur-Grosne are Saint-Gengoux-le-National in the north and northeast, Malay in the south and east, Bonnay in the southwest and Curtil-sous-Burnand in the west.
