Bragny-sur-Saône is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-en-Gâtinois in the north and west, Palleau in the north, Écuelles in the north-east, Charnay-lès-Chalon in the east and north-east, Saunières in the east and south-east, Ciel in the south and South-east, Verdun-sur-le-Doubs in the south and south-west and Allerey-sur-Saône in the west and north-west.
